Silvernerve – Elias privitera
Fervid, dark electronic music, powered by the shrieking pulp of life, chewed up and spat out.
Silvernerve (aka. Elias Privitera) is an electronica musician and producer from Sheffield. Silvernerve writes music that wants to grab you by the throat and force down fearful reverance to banal things; dust, tiredness, or tedious surburban architecture, against a backdrop of the horrifying largeness surrounding us and inside of ourselves.
He has been composing for 14 years across a variety of genres beginning with acoustic singer/songwriter, then punk, electronic/punk/folk and to now with his current style.
Influences include u-ziq, Brian Eno, Hans Zimmer, Grouper, My Chemical Romance and Vangelis.
He is producing another full length album which is, so far, heavy on concept and narrative. And live shows echo this; they are progressively becoming highly visual.
